Farewell Class with Jake Freeman Beaded Ring
Jake Freeman has been a regular instructor here at the Shop, and this will perhaps be her last. (at least for a while) She's pursuing her dream of moving to BC. And we all wish her the very best! Please Come and enjoy her farewell class and make these lovely rings. Morning or afternoon class.

About the Event

- 2 colours of delica beads of your choosing
Jake will help you to create a unique ring, with the colours of your choosing as well as share some tips and tricks with materials and beading techniques.
Jake is Michif, and currently living and working in what is now known as Winnipeg; Treaty 1 Territory as well as the Homeland of (her) Metis Nation. Jake has been creating by way of painting and beading for over 10 years and each new piece helps her to reclaim some history and tradition of her ancestors. Jake began teaching workshops at Amber’s Leather Creations in 2019. ManitobaMade by Jake is also a featured maker at the shopWAG gallery.
This will be Jake’s last workshop classes of 2021, in Manitoba as she is moving at the end of September. She hopes to continue creating and teaching in her new location. Jake would like to thank Amber and so many others in the art and creative community for being accepting, welcoming, and supportive.
